iTunes U
The iTunes U is an amazing new way to learning. It allows instructors and students to learn and communicate on a whole new level. We can use iTunes, for video and audio, not just music video;s and songs. We can use it for teacher lectures and responses. It is of course a free service, all you have to do is to download iTunes :) (which as we know we all already have).
My favorite part about iTunes U is that it can be a greattool for children with disabilities. Using Voiceover, which is a built in screen reader. Children with slower motor skills can use iTunes U at there own pace. You and your school can also decide whether or not you want to make your content on iTunes U available to just members of your educational community or the whole world! i Tunes U is simple and easy to use, and a small step to insuring a better education.

ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right about how itunes U is very helpful for children with disabilities. It gives all students an equal opportunity to learn on their own pace. Itunes U is just a great tool that will make learning easier.
